Egidijus Simkus aka "Egis" is a Lithuanian born figure artist. He has lone had an interest in the arts, and for several years he studied at the Art Pedagogical Institute (Art Teaching and Training College.) In addition he attended the Fine Arts Academy in Vilnius, focusing on traditional methods of oils and watercolors. His style is to use classical ideas to create beautiful contemporary works of art. Egis' paintings are currently being displayed in several galleries throughout Europe and the UK.

Pair of Framed Peruvian Oils on Canvas - Sku:420-421

These are an impressive pair of signed oil paintings done in neutral tones by Peruvian artist Koqui, 1985. The subjects are of spanish cowboys each on horseback. The detail is amazing and you can just feel the gracious movements that are depicted in each scene. These pieces are framed with simple brown painted wood. Measurements of the framed pieces are 24 1/2 x 16 3/4.
